Steps to Submit Your Photos:
1. Take Photos of Your Stairs and Landings
Snap clear photos of your staircase, be sure to take some from the top of the stairs and the bottom. Try to capture as much of the landing areas as possible.
Make sure to include any doorways or narrow hallways near the landings so we have a full view.
2. Measure Landing to Landing (Floor to Floor)
Positioning the Tape Measure: Standing at the top of the staircase, send the small end of your tape measure down the stairs, making sure the tape touches all the nosing (the edge) of each step on its way down.
Slide the Tape Measure: Slide the tape measure all the way down until it just reaches the floor at the bottom landing.
Ensure Accuracy: Make sure the tape measure touches the nosing of every step and stays straight, without any bends.
Take a Photo of the Measurement: Take the measurement from the very bottom floor and read the tape at the very top floor to get the most accurate measurement possible. Once you have your measurement, take a clear photo of the tape measure stretched down the stairs to show the full length, just like in the example photos provided.
3. Measure Staircase Width
Measure the width of your stairs from wall to wall.
Take a photo of this measurement so we can see it clearly.
4. Upload Your Photos
Once you’ve taken all the photos, fill out your information and upload them to the form above.
